A Midsummer Night's Storm

A Midsummer Night's Storm

Many Thanks...

...to all who came out for our third annual summer fundraiser, A Midsummer Night's Storm, on Saturday, July 17th. The even was a sold-out success, with over 325 guests in attendance. Despite a bit of heat lightning in the distant sky, the weather remained balmy, and provided a great setting for food and drink from Point Brugge and Make Your Mark Artspace and Coffeehouse, and live music from Mon River Ramblers.

Congressman Mike Doyle and Allegheny County Council President Rich Fitzgerald greeted the crowd and talked about how much Nine Mile Run means to each of them. Rick Sebak entertained us and encouraged all to become members as he had done earlier in the day at our website, and party-goers danced to the tunes spun by J.Malls and Hi-Top Wrangler until the trucks arrived to tear down the tents.

All in all, a fine summer evening!
