Every time it rains, trash & debris from the upper watershed communities of Pittsburgh, Edgewood, Wilkinsburg, & Swissvale washes into Nine Mile Run. The increasingly intense downpours that our watershed is experiencing lead to an unprecedented amount of trash being deposited over a wider area than ever before. Come to the Pop-up Stream Sweep on Tuesday, August 20th and help us bring the stream back to it’s former beautiful condition!
Meet at the soccer field at the end of the Fern Hollow parking lot, located at the bottom of Lancaster Avenue.
