By stitching together and geo-referencing 20 historical maps of the Pittsburgh area, we located a huge portion of the historic stream and watershed.
Do you love Maps? Wonder how you can engage more with your watershed and fellow residents? If so, please join us for our next quarterly Water Talk, Mapping and Mochas.
We will share with you all the ways Nine Mile Run has been using maps to restore and protect the watershed ecosystem.
Swissvale residents, CivicMapper, will show show off the tool they created for our Watershed Hydrology Study. We are excited to partner with the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy for this event and they will be hosting us at the Frick Environmental Center.
Refreshing iced mochas will be provided.
