Since the Nine Mile Run Aquatic Ecosystem Restoration project was completed in 2006, the visual changes and improvements in the Nine Mile Run valley have been easy to see. However, other changes can only be examined through scientific inquiry.
To that end, over the past eight plus years, NMRWA staff and Monitoring Committee members have collectively contributed thousands of hours of expertise and work, collecting and analyzing data to look at changes in the stream and riparian areas.
To date, we have produced four biennial State of the Watershed reports that summarize the ongoing scientific research being conducted on Nine Mile Run. The three most recent are available below.
